Flight is a interactive sculptural adaptation of photographs captured by Eadweard Muybridge in the late 1800s. Muybridge was an early English photographer that pioneered the study of motion. Each still, complex and fascinating individually, together, elongate a moment in time by separating it into its parts. Flight honors both the stillness and motion of these images through a simple mechanized animation. Viewers are encouraged to interact with the piece, controlling both the movement or stillness of the bird's flight.
