My mother died suddenly when I was 9 years old. When she died my chubby cheeks and saucer eyes only hinted at a familial resemblance.
Now late into my twenties, I have grown into her features.
I am told I speak like her. I am told my gestures mimic hers.
I am told for a moment I can bring her back to life.
